Glencadam Origin 1825 is a sweet and fruity single malt that takes its name from the year Glencadam Distillery was originally founded. A specially selected combination of Glencadam malts that have matured in both American oak ex bourbon and Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks; the end result is a sweet, yet spicy and floral whisky that displays a fruity complexity – ranging from red fruits on the nose and yellow fruits on the palate.
Nose: Sweet orchard fruits and blossom honey mingled with baked apple and hints of cinnamon.
Palate: Layers of fresh banana and pear fruit followed with sweet barley sugars, dried pineapple and soft cake spices.
Finish: Mellow and fruity with notes of pear drops, lemon drizzle cake and candied peels.
