Extra Noir is no sugar, non-chill filtered blend of pot and column distilled molasses rum, soaked with French oak then pressed with both French and ex-bourbon wood. Finally, rested in ex French cane rum casks for 60 days.
Nose: Distinct notes of spiced oak wrapped up in a vanilla sweetness from the ex-bourbon casks.
Palate: Notes of coffee beans come through ripe tropical fruit balanced out with an oak spiciness.
Finish: A lingering spiciness from the oak with a rounded sweetness.
